Car Seat Scam - Advice for all Female Drivers.

People are reporting that while driving on some rural roads a baby car seat has been seen on the side of the road with a blanket draped over it.

Small gangs of devious thieves are plotting different ways to get a driver (mostly women because of their caring nature) to stop their vehicle and get out of the car.

The thieves place a car-seat by the road, sometimes with a with a fake baby or doll in it, waiting for a woman driver to stop and check on the "abandoned baby".

The usual location of the carseat is by a wooded or grassy field area. The plan is that when a woman stops her car at a conveniently located pull in, just past the carseat, someone hiding nearby will help themselves to a handbag, shopping bag, phone or anything left in the car. Even worse the female could be dragged into the woods, beaten and raped too.

So please pass this message on to all female drivers to beware -

DO NOT STOP FOR ANY REASON.

DIAL 999 or just drive to the nearest Police Station and report it.


SEND THIS MESSAGE TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS TO MAKE THEM AWARE AND TO BE CAREFUL SO AS NOT TO BECOME THE NEXT VICTIM.
